Frequently asked questions
Who should I contact with technical questions?
For any technical issues, contact technical support. If the problem occurs during a consultation, first inform the technical specialist — they will try to help or pass the information on to support.
How can you understand that psychological help is needed?
You can contact a psychologist at any time when you want to understand yourself better or work through a difficult situation. It does not have to be something frightening or extraordinary. Not everyone needs long-term therapy — sometimes a few sessions are enough to clarify confusing moments in life. For example, if your relationship with your partner is not going well, work is irritating, or the future seems bleak and тревожным, a consultation with a psychologist will help you understand these feelings, explore the causes, and find ways to change. It is especially important to seek help if you have experienced a traumatic event, loss, violence, or a serious physical injury. These situations can deeply affect your psycho-emotional state.
What should I do if a client’s request is beyond my competence?
If you understand that the client’s request requires the help of another specialist, it is important to explain this gently and with compassion. Emphasize that you want to help and suggest a direction for the next steps. You can explain what to pay attention to when choosing a specialist, which qualifications matter, and how to better formulate the request. Avoid directly recommending specific specialists in order to remain neutral, but provide useful resources or advice. Do not forget to inform your personal manager about the situation so they are aware and can provide support if needed. Most importantly, stay on the client’s side, show involvement, and offer help within your competence whenever possible. This approach will preserve trust and demonstrate your sincere care.
What should I do if there are doubts about the client’s age?
If there are doubts about the client’s age, it is important to clarify this information directly with the client. If the client cannot confirm their age or the information provided raises doubts, please inform your personal manager. The manager will help assess the situation and make an appropriate decision in order to avoid violating platform rules and the law.
Why does a standard session last 50 minutes?
This format is optimal for productive work, allowing the client to dive deeply into the topic while enabling the specialist to conduct the consultation effectively. Longer sessions may lead to emotional and cognitive fatigue. The remaining 10 minutes between consultations are used by the psychologist for notes and preparation for the next session.
s the time zone taken into account when booking a consultation?
Yes, the system automatically displays available slots in your time zone. For example, if a psychologist in Kyiv sets an appointment time of 13:00 and you are in Canada, you will see your local time, for example 20:00. When booking, both the client and the specialist see the time adjusted to their own time zone, which eliminates possible misunderstandings.
